A Tea Party: Non-Winning Artisan Award Project #4

I’m back from camping! WOW – 2 weeks away from home is just a little too long for me. I’ve got so many crafty things to do! While I’m busy creating new and wonderful things for you to see on my blog and to make at my Open House next week, I’ll keep you all entertained with some non-winning Artisan Award entries.

This is a 5 x 5 card of Very Vanilla and Pear Pizzazz and Baja Breeze. I used the Springtime Vintage designer paper and the stamp set, Morning Cup.

I ruffled some Eyelet Punched Very Vanilla cardstock and added a cute little teapot to the centre. Then, a little pocket behind the circle houses a tea bag that matches the tea party invitation.

Don’t forget about my Fascinator Frenzy blog candy starting on July 28th – I hope those of you at Convention had your eyes peeled. And for those of you who were not, get your crafty ideas ready to share! Don’t know what I’m talking about? Click here to find out more!

Hope you have a great day!

  1. This is just gorgeous! The attention to the little details is amazing – you’re a winner in my book. Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration. X

  2. Ruffling the eyelet paper is such a neat trick. I will have to use that!! And that springtime dsp sure is “sweet”. I missed out on it. I hope SU creates something similar again. Thks for a pretty card with lots of special touches.

  5. Very Pretty! 🙂

  6. Thud.

The artisan judges need to get off the sauce for not picking you. (the other projects are awesome, don’t get me wrong) But you’re like a stamping maniac, yo.

  7. Wow, there’s lot of great details in there!! I really like how you threaded the button with the cardstock and snipped the ends like that – such a cute detail! 😀

  10. What is the little blue piece going through the button holes? Thank you for your kind attention to this inquiry.

  11. OMG, gorgeous card Carrie! Love these colors and how you’ve pieced the teapot! Love that little flagged “ribbon” through the button too–genius!

  12. You notched that teeny strip of cardstock through the button – OMG – a definite CC!
