A Hoppin’ Happy Easter – Inkspirations #63

Too early for Easter? Nope! Never to early to get started. I am LOVING the Sale-A-Bration products this year! For this week’s Inkspirations Challenge, it is all about this sketch:

I decided I’d start with the Ice Cream Parlour colours of Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Pacific Point. I think most things about this card are pretty self explanatory but I’ll shed a little light on a couple of details. This is actually a card that I’ll be showcasing at an upcoming embossing workshop. I wanted to play with my Versamarker and this is one of the ways you can do that – basket weave!

The basket is made from Crumb Cake cardstock using the Wide Oval punch, Scallop Oval Punch, 1 3/8″ circle punch and the 1 3/4″ circle punch. The eggs are the little circles from the Ice Cream Parlour Accents.

This is such a fun and bright colour combination – how could you not smile?

Now head on over to Inkspirations and play along with this great sketch challenge….if you dare….(insert evil laugh here!).

Check out what my fellow DT members did with this sketch too!
