Spooky Spider (KKC04)

Time for another installment of the KA-POW Kreative Challenge and this time it’s a sketch! There are a lot of possibilities with this one but since Halloween is next week, I thought I’d make something to celebrate the occasion. The base for this card is Basic Gray and I’ve layered it with Basic Black and then a piece of Pick Your Poison designer series paper. I roughed up the edges a bit and then added another strip of a different pattern going one one way and a piece of Basic Gray satin ribbon going the other.

 

If you look closely on the spider, you’ll notice that there is a small embossed image:

 

I used the Halloween stamp from Sweet Centres and embossed it with clear embossing powder on Basic Black cardstock. The body is punched out with the 1 3/4″ circle punch and the legs are made using the Ornament punch.

 

If you look up to where the Trinket pin is, you’ll notice the little embossed ghost from the Sweet Centres image. And hanging on the pin is a little medium Jewelry tag punched out from Pick your Poison designer paper and it is stamped with Tiny Tags.
