Just For You Flowers

This week at Create with Connie and Mary brings a wonderful inspiration challenge that has so many interpretations.

For my card, I decided to focus on the the colours in the cake. I chose More Mustard, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Cajun Craze.

I stamped the Cajun Craze piece with the blossom image from Eastern Blooms over and over, sponged and distressed and added to the More Mustard layer. I tied on some Cherry Cobbler seam binding. I tied on a little Very Vanilla ribbon slide which I added a little Old Olive grosgrain to the centre of.

I stamped the image from A Slice of Life (hostess set from the Occasions Mini) in Jet Black StazOn and coloured it in with the chosen colours as above.

The sentiment is from Just Believe and I also added a little bit of Pearlized Accent ink to the vase.

I’d love to see what you can come up with for this inspiration photo – head on over to Create with Connie and Mary and play along!
