I’m Filled with Love

Last night I had a downline meeting with some of my lovely team members. I always so enjoy meeting with them!

This month I thought I’d share what we made at our meeting as these projects were super fun and although specifically made with the Filled with Love Bundle that is currently on special, it can be easily adapted to various colours and themes. Here is a quick photo of the the three projects:

Our focus, as I’d said, was the Filled with Love Bundle (order today on my website before it’s no longer available – Last day to order is January 24th!) but I also wanted to add in another specific product that we’d use on all projects – the Scallop Envelope Die.

I’ll sort of quickly  walk you through each project. First, we did the little treat holder:

This was made with two Scallop Envelopes cut with Real Red cardstock. We trimmed the bottom flap down to 1/2″ and then adhered all the sides together with Sticky Strip. We used the Love Patterns designer paper along the front and stamped the large heart from Filled with Love in Real Red on Whisper White and punched out with the Full Heart punch. We backed it with  a Pretty in Pink Scalloped Heart (embosslit). A 3/4″ circle with “feb 14th” and a little Bitty Button (free with this bundle), and a tie of Pretty in Pink striped grosgrain round off this project.

Next, we made a card:

For this card we used the Note Cards and Envelopes. This is a wonderful alternative to the standard A2 size card as they come cut and scored with a matching envelope. We stamped the large heart in Pretty in Pink down the right side and then added a punched out heart on with dimensionals. Again, we added a Bitty Button detail but this time instead of tying it, we added the shape in behind (punched out with the Bitty Punch Bundle) and then a Basic rhinestone on top. Where we incorporated our Scallop Envelope was along the left side. We took a 1 1/2″ x 6″ strip and folded it in half. We then laid it down over the top of the envelope die at the end of the very first scallop. Then, when unfolded, it was the perfect length to fit our card.

You’ll see we made the envelope match too! We used the same technique with the Scallop Envelope die but folded our paper on the second scallop end so it is a little shorter.

Lastly, we did a scrapbooking project. Now it is not your typical scrapbook page, we did a mini book. However, it could be used a journalling piece on a 12 x 12 page also.

This project uses 6 Scallop Envelopes. We adhered the flaps together on the inside to make pockets and then cut all of them so the bottom flap is 1″ from the score line. We then added some Pretty in Pink striped grosgrain to tie it on together. Inside the pockets are Whisper White sheets with little tabs. Those tabs are what we cut off the bottom flap (waste not want not!). We stamped a little saying and adhered with dimensionals. Here is another look at this project:

Yes, long post, I know! But I love sharing my projects from my downline meetings and am thrilled when I can come up with a great set that can be used for many an occasion! A great challenge blog, The Paper Players, is having a Valentine’s Challenge this week – head on over and play along. Valentine’s projects are just so much fun to make!

So don’t forget, the Filled with Love Bundle is only available until January 24th – don’t miss out!
