A Sad Farewell – Inkspirations Colour Challenge #

Welcome back to the Inkspirations Challenges! After taking a wee holiday break, we are all back with a bang! This week, Keesh has got a colour challenge for us:

For my card, I used a somewhat sad occasion as my starting point. My kids have had the same Vice-Principal for almost the whole time they’ve been in school. He is an amazing teacher, administrator and overall person. Much to our sadness but his joy, he was offered a principal position in another local school. So, we were super happy for him but sad for us. So, I just had to make a card for him and this colour scheme seemed like the perfect starting point.

Really, it is quite simple. I used the Simple Alphabet Sizzix Die and cut out the letters in the colours of the challenge. I used Peach Parfait as the base and layered it with the Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze.

My favourite part of the card is the little peek-a-boo kids!

Super cute huh? So head on over to the Inkspirations Challenge Blog and show us what you can do! For a little more inspiration, check out what our super talented design team has come up with!
