I love punch art but don’t do it very often because I tend to go overboard…just a bit. However, each Christmas, I tend to do something fun and they turn out to be fabulous! Last year I made Scrooge and a great lamp post but this year, I decided to be “comical” and do a Charlie Brown inspired Christmas card. This and there was a punch art challenge at SUO Challenges – and I LOVE their challenges!
Instead of taking up hours writing up this post, I think what I’ll do is just list what I used to make what. Sound good? You can always leave a comment or email me if you have any questions.
Here goes!
Charlie Brown Tree: Two-Step Bird (trimmed down the branches a bit), Bitty Punch Bundle (ornament).
Doghouse: Word Window (I lined the house with these, I cut off the edges and sponged with Basic Black ink).
Christmas Lights: Two-Step Bird (I used the very end leaf on the branch and cut it off), Wide Oval & Large Oval (string), 1 1/4″ Circle & 1 3/8″ Circle (string).
Snoopy: Butterfly punch (head – I trimmed this down a bit), Medium Oval punch (from holiday mini), Heart to Heart punch (feet x 2), Small Heart (arm, I used the circle punch from Bitty Punch Bundle to shape it out for the arm), Crop-A-Dile (nose), Scallop Circle Punch (ear – I cut around one scallop into the centre).
Here is a little look up close:
I used my Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker to outline the Snoopy shapes so it looks like they’ve been drawn. On the Christmas lights, I added white tops to the lights with my white gel pen, then added a little black line.
Lastly, I added a sentiment from Many Merry Messages (looked like type-font) in Always Artichoke and backed with Crumb Cake. In behind, I put a couple of snowbanks.
I hope you enjoy it and look for more – I’m feeling really inspired!

Carrie, all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, cause I just busted them when my jaw hit the floor and slapped up and knocked them right out of my head.
