I decided that I’d better get going on Father’s Day cards so this is my first one (I need to make 4). I still have some of that awesome retired designer paper (the name of which escapes me) and I wanted to use it.
The card base is Night of Navy and is layered with a piece of Brocade Blue on which I stamped Print Pattern. I also sponged the edges. I layered the designer paper on a piece of Garden Green. This is such a fun colour combo!
I used my Classic Stars jumbo wheel and wheeled it in Versamark on some Garden Green cardstock then punched out a large star with the large star punch. I adhered a Brocade Blue button onto it with a glue dot and then onto the rim of a metal edged tag.
Using Wonderful Favourites, I stamped “for my wonderful father” in coordinating colours and adhered onto a layer of Night of Navy. I lastly added three silver brads for texture.
Men’s cards can be hard but I’m really going to try to knock these out of the park this year. So, stay tuned, I’ve got at least one more done and it’ll post soon!
