On our 3D Design Challenge blog, Pam and I posted a great hanging heart template and, for my second sample, I decided to try to make one using my punches.
My starting point was the Colour Challenge on SCS this week – Pink Pirouette, Perfect Plum and Kiwi Kiss.
Here is what I did:
I started with a 1 3/4″ square of Pink Pirouette. I then punched out four 1 3/4″ circles and folded them in half. I did this for both the front and back.
I then glued half of each circle to each side of the square. Now it looks just like the template or the petal card die.
Add adhesive to two of the circles – ensure they are side by side and then cut a strip of cardstock measuring 7/8″ x 3 1/2″. Fold it in half and use this to glue the semi circles to like so….
For my sample, I also used some remaining designer paper from the Hoppy Memories Simply Scrappin’ Kit as well as the Heart to Heart Punch and Love You Much stamp set.
Now, make sure you jump on over to 3DDC and check out my other sample!
