Where have I been you may be asking? Or maybe you aren’t….
I’ve been trade showing a bunch over the past couple of weeks and have had all my goodies packed up so I haven’t been able to stamp. Well, last night I got a couple of hours to play so I decided to come up with a few great little gift sets that are wonderful for the holiday season. I hope to post one each day this week – lofty goal I know but I’ll do my best.
Here is my first one:
Great a box you say, but just wait…there is something inside! This box is made with Bordering Blue cardstock, strips of Kiwi Kiss and the lid is Ruby Red textured. I used my Sizzix to make a Kiwi top note and my Pennant die to make the large scallop. I stamped images from Cheers For You and punched them out with the 1 3/4″ circle punch. The corners are all tied with Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon.
Now, what is inside?
Neat, huh? The box is made from four pieces of 11x 5 1/2 and scored at 5″ then I adhered all the 5″ scored pieces together to make the bottom. The centre of the box is just white cardstock layered where you could jot a note to the receiver of the gift.
The four cards inside are all made with the Cheers to You stamp set and various scraps I had on hand on my table – textured Kiwi cardstock and Frosty designer paper.
Try this out – it is a great fun project!
