Each Wednesday we post a new free downloadable template as well as samples from both Pam and myself. We have a running list of all the wonderful samples from the players of the week and then we pick a winner and top 3Ds (designers). This week we are showcasing the one sheet box! Just go to the 3DDC blog to get the template for yourself!
Funny that we picked this as when I met Pam at the SU Convention in Denver, she made me a one sheet box and I still have it. She is so super – okay, now everyone say “awwwww”. Well, I thought it was a great idea to post both the box and a picture of Pam and I the first time we met….
Pam used Regal Rose and Chocolate Chip cardstock and made her box like a little purse. She filled it with little goodies which even included a Colorado Avalanche helmet – obviously I didn’t hold that against her for too long…..snicker snicker….
And here we are! Yes, this was the first time we met in person. It is so much fun to find blogging friends and I have to admit I was very hesitant to make friends online. Looking back, I’m completely floored by my “wimpiness” and I’ve really found a pretty fantastic friend in Pam.
Not only is she an extremely nice person, she is crazy talented. If you haven’t checked out her blog, you should. And make sure you watch her Friday Flicks – they are fantastic!
I know this post has been a bit warmer and fuzzier than normal but I think sometimes we forget to tell people how special they are. This is too bad. Think about your last bad restaurant experience. Maybe you were quick to complain to management or not leave a tip – we’ve all been there. But what about the last amazing experience. Did you tell someone? Send a note to thank them? This is what we have to do more often.
Take the time to tell someone special just how special they are. And Pam – YOU ROCK!
