A Look at Eastern Eclectic

Here are two projects I’d stamped for my Open House that highlight the Eastern Eclectic Style Watch from Stampin’ Up!.

This card started with a base of Tempting Turquoise. I grabbed a piece of Bali Breeze Designer paper and cut out one of the big flowers. I made sure it was a bit off centre when I cut it. I used my Tombow Multi Adhesive and ran a bead of glue along the outline of the petals. I then sprinkled with some of the new wonderful glitters from Stampin’ Up!.

I finished up this card quite simply by using a stamp from Doodle This (stamped in Turquoise ink) and I drew around it with my white gel pen. I stamped the salutation from A Beautiful Life to finish it off.

I also made this 12×12 page….

This is a very simple page but has some great elements!

The base is a piece of the Bali Breeze designer paper. The word Mexico is stamped in Old Olive ink using the Taffy Alphabet. I used an Anchored rub on to add the word “adventure”. The picture is mounted on some Pink Passion cardstock.

I made a couple of beaded staples using the great new beads from Stampin’ Up! and I added them to the edge of a strip of Pumpkin Pie paper stamped repeatedly with the little circle images from A Beautiful Life.

On the other side of the picture, I stamped the solid flower from A Beautiful Life in olive ink and added little Pumpkin Pie circles. I also added a large flower from our Pretties Kit layered with some Felt Fusion Flowers and an Ice Rhinestone brad.

Like I said, not a hard page to do but full of great elements and products!
