Feeling Progressive?

Been to a workshop with me lately? You may remember part of this project. One of the make and takes I’ve done recently was a 6×6 scrapbook page and some of you decided to make a 3×6 card using the same materials. So, here is another way to look at this make and take. I’ve taken it and made it into a progressive scrapbook page.

You can see the 6×6 page mounted in the centre part of the 12×12 sheet. It is Old Olive and has a strip of More Mustard cardstock wheeled with the Daisy wheel, some double stitched Blue Bayou ribbon and the cute little from from Unfrogettable. Now to make this a progressive page, I first had to make it into a 8 1/2 x 11 page.

To do this, I stamped the toadstool from Unfrogettable in Blue Bayou ink along the bottom of Blue Bayou cardstock. I added a place for a second photo and a place for journalling – both mounted on Purely Pomegranate cardstock.

To make it into a full 12×12 page I really didn’t add that much more. I pulled out my Big Deal Alphabet (LOVE THIS) and stamped the word ‘fun’ in Old Olive ink on olive cardstock. I added a line of rub on dots and “the story of” rub on as well. Along the right side of the 8 1/2 x 11 sheet, I added a few mustard circles for some extra ‘somethin-somethin’.

Oh, I wanted to dress up the word fun a bit so I took my white gel pen out and made patterns on the letters. Easy, quick and fun! I added a little pomegranate flower for good measure and that was that!
