This is a great project and quick and easy to make!
I had a whole bunch of little strips of designer series paper left over from a project and wanted to use them. I had thought of putting together a cool hostess gift and this is what I came up with.
The box is an 8 1/2 x 6 1/2 piece of cardstock. I scored the short end (6 1/2) at 1″ from both ends and scored the long end (8 1/2) at 3/4″ from both ends. I then folded in all the corners and used sticky strip to keep it all together.
On the outside, I added a 1″ strip of Les Jardin designer paper and tied some River Rock double stitched ribbon around it. I also added a Bashful Blue Die cut bloom to which I added a rub on and a build a brad.
On the inside of the box I put five cards. Each has a strip of artichoke cardstock and a strip of Les Jardin designer series paper. Inside the back of the box I added a coin sized envelope and inside the envelope I put different salutations from Sincere Salutations including a dimensional on the back of each one. This way, the hostess could use whichever she’d like at any given time.
